Wash the cherries well, then clean the seeds.

In a pot, place a row of cherries, sprinkle with sugar and cherries, then sugar until all is done. Leave it to cool overnight to leave the juice and melt the sugar. Stir in the pot from time to time.

Remove the pot from the refrigerator, add the lemon juice, mix, then put on high heat until it starts to boil. Then turn on the low heat and simmer. Stir constantly so as not to stick to the pot and froth as many times as needed.

If there is too much syrup, it is taken from it and can be used for juices.

Leave it to boil for about 2-2.5 hours, but do the drop test. Take 2-3 lbs of jam and place on a plate. Leave to cool and if it hardens slightly, it does not flow, it is ready, if not, it is left to boil.

When ready, allow to cool slightly, then pour into sterilized jars, cover and heat covered with beds until completely cool. It is labeled and placed in the pantry.

It is wonderful on a slice of bread with butter and a cup of milk next to it.

Dough ingredients:

  • 4 eggs, 250 gr powdered sugar
  • 150 ml of water, 150 ml of sunflower oil
  • 250 gr wheat flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 sachet of baking powder

Cream ingredients:

  • 2 sachets of vanilla pudding
  • 600 ml milk, 7 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, 100 gr butter
  • Cherry jam

Method of preparation:

We prepare the dough. Beat the eggs with the powdered sugar. Add sifted wheat flour with baking powder and cocoa. Then pour the oil and water. Mix well to combine the ingredients.

Pour the dough into a tray lined with baking paper. Bake the dough in the preheated oven at 180 degrees, until it passes the toothpick test. After the countertop is baked, let it cool.

We prepare cream. Dissolve the pudding powder in 150 ml of milk. We boil the remaining milk together with the sugar. When it boils, add the pudding and mix well until it thickens. We take the pudding from the fire and let it cool.

Using the mixer, beat the butter with the vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the pudding, spoon by spoon, in the beaten butter. Mix well to obtain a smooth cream.

Cut the cold countertop into 3 to get three countertops. We put the first countertop in a tray. Grease it with jam and spread half of the vanilla cream on top. We add the second countertop. Grease it with jam and add the remaining cream. We spread it evenly.

Now add the last cocoa top and prepare the icing. Heat the cocoa with the sugar and milk over low heat. Then add the butter and mix until smooth. Pour the icing obtained over the last cocoa top.

We put the cake in the fridge for at least 3 hours, after which we can cut it and serve it with our loved ones. Good appetite and increase cooking!

This year, the cherries in our garden have finally borne fruit. A rich and tasty fruit. Large, fleshy, sweet and good cherries. I know that when my mother went home she made it with syrup, just like I made the rose jam and the jam was boiled more with the sugar ... so, as I did now, what would it be?

ingredients
1 kg black cherries
650 gr sugar
3 water dogs

In a thick, double-bottomed pot, I boiled the cherries with water.
I let it simmer in its law, during which time I made a good cake (I'll post it tomorrow).
When the juice has halved (leave the cherries) I added sugar.
I let it simmer for another 35-40 minutes, cleaning the foam formed from time to time. It was so good that I didn't even put the lemon I had prepared to add. Now ..depending on which pot you boil I have a pot which although it was quite expensive, is very good. It has a thick bottom and I don't have to mix too much when I boil something. If you do not have a thick pot, I recommend a bowl of tuci as it is just as good or if you do not mix more often after adding sugar, do not smoke jam / jam.
I kept taking out the saucer to see how thick it was after cooling, and when I thought it was ready I stopped the fire. It thickens a lot after cooling, do not boil too much.

I poured into clean, sterilized, hot jars, and screwed on the lids.

If you make larger quantities that you keep in the pantry, add a little preservative.

I got two jars of 320 plus a bowl that would reach us for two days for breakfast, with milk and butter.

After tasting what came out, I said with a grin: I like cherry jam.
And the children really liked it.)
